Stu Participates in the Pan-Mass Challenge

For the fourth year Stew (President of Norfolk Hardware) is riding the Pan Mass challenge. The ride as many of you know takes place on August 2-3. It spans 163 miles from Wellesley to Provincetown. He will ride on the same team the represents the nurses from the oncology floor at Boston Children's hospital. The "Pedals for Pediatrics" team along with the other 6000 riders last year alone raised almost 40 MILLION dollars. The best part is almost 100% of the money we raise goes to cancer research and treatment the Boston Children's Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

"We all have lost love ones that have been victims of this disease. This ride is my contribution to help raise money to fight cancer. Whether we have a business or personal relationship or both, I am asking you for your generous support."

He started training last week and will continue to do so for the next few months. At 63 if he can get these old bones to pedal for two days and 163 miles, you can show your support by helping him reach at least $5,000 this year. His daughter, a RN, every day witnesses the difference we can make helping these kids. We talk about it all the time. Please help me help them.

Cobb Hill Construction Remodels Home of Boston Marathon Survivor

Thank you Cobb Hill Construction for allowing us to be a part of
Jeff's home remodel. We truly appreciate being able to help out someone as brave and resilient Jeff is.

Jeff lost both of his legs in the Boston Marathon bombing earlier this year, and Cobb Hill Construction handled the coordination of all the donations and the labor to make Jeff's home more accessible.

NH's Governor Maggie Hassan attended the barbecue on October 24, 2013 along with many of the contractors and suppliers that donated their time and products to celebrate the completion of the recent addition to his parents home in Concord NH.
