Norfolk Remodels Dimock Center’s Askia Academy

January 2, 2019

Norfolk Hardware & Home Center, along with Norfolk Kitchen & Bath, recently partnered with Channel 5 WCVB to remodel Askia Academy, The Dimock Health Center’s Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Facility in Roxbury, MA.

Founded in 1862 as the New England Hospital for Women and Children, the Dimock Center heals and uplifts individuals, families, and our community. Operating on a nine-acre campus in Roxbury, The Dimock Center serves communities in Boston and across the state, providing comprehensive, culturally-competent Health and Community Care, Behavioral Health Services, and Child and Family Services to more than 17,000 people annually.

Norfolk Hardware & Home Center donated paint and paint materials, while Norfolk Kitchen & Bath donated the cabinetry for the new community kitchen. Employees of both Norfolk Kitchen & Bath and Norfolk Hardware & Home Center volunteered their time to paint Askia House with the Red Sox Foundation.
